Così fan tutte, ossia La scuola degli amanti [koˈsi ˈfan ˈtutte] (it.), is an opera in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, KV 588, based on a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. Mozart began with the composition in the autumn of 1789. The opera was premiered on 26 January 1790 in the “old” Burgtheater on Michaelerplatz in Vienna.
