Stéphanie Révillion
Stéphanie Révillion is the artistic director of the Ensemble Buranello.
The French soprano Stéphanie Révillion began her vocal training with the "Maîtrise Boréale" in Lille and had her first stage experiences at the Lille Opera and with the Lille National Orchestra (conducted by Jean-Claude Casadesus). In 2003, she began studying singing at the Lille Conservatory and also improved her skills with Nobuko Takahashi and Michael Barret (Boston), all in parallel with her general studies. She continued her vocal studies at the "Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel" (Dina Grossberger) and perfected her knowledge of baroque music with Herman Stinders and Jan de Winne. She now works under the guidance of Malcolm King. At the Atelier lyrique Tourcoing, with the "Grande Ecurie et la Chambre du Roy", she regularly sings in choir under the direction of Jean-Claude Malgoire (Aben Hamet, Cosi fan tutte, Dido and Aeneas at the Théatre des Champs-Elysées). She sings regularly with the ensemble "Harmonia Sacra" in Velenciennes (dir. Yannick Lemaire) and "The New Baroque Times" in Brussels (Festival Vlaanderen, Midi Minimes...). With the Ensemble "Harmonia Sacra" she gave concerts in the "Operabus" in September 2016 at the Festival Baroque de Pontoise and at the "Festival Embaroquement Immédiat". She sang Constanza in Haydn's Isola disabitata at the 'Académie de la Petite Bande' with Sigiswald Kuijken. She joined the Concert d'Astrée choir for a stage production in May 2018 at the Dijon Opera. During the 2018-2019 season, she is notably Le Chaperon Rouge in Aubert's "Forêt Bleu" at the Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing. In 2019-2020, she is on stage with "Harmonia Sacra" and the Lisboa Houbrechts company in the show "Brueghel" in Antwerp, Brussels, Amsterdam, Ghent, ... and in residence with her ensemble "Il Buranello" in February 2020 at the "Cité de la Voix" in Vézelay. In 2021, she will sing at the Abbaye de Vaucelles, at the "Festival Embaroquement Immédiat", in the Opérabus for a creation around "La Fontaine" in a production by Mickaël Bouffard with "Harmonia Sacra", Grande Halle de la Villette, at the Phénix, national stage of Valenciennes and at the "La Vignette" Theatre in Montpellier for revivals of "Brueghel". She is a graduate of EDHEC Business School (master in management) and holds a Bachelor's degree in History and a Bachelor's degree in Art History. She was in charge of the artistic coordination for "Le Concert d'Astrée" (dir. Emmanuelle Haïm) during several years of singing at the Brussels Conservatory.
